Abstract Mechanical metamaterials have emerged as promising tools for enabling mechanical intelligence in soft machines through interaction with the external environment. Note that most representative results literature focused on certain features of information processing designs novel metamaterials. It remains challenging to design more integrated capabilities toward comprehensive intelligence. In this work, a approach employing programmable multi‐stability perforated shells (PS) staggered trapezoidal voids is proposed develop transformable, information‐processing high‐density information. Multi‐layer storage, encoding, decoding, and reading are achieved by designing arranging different types PSs under compression or magnetic actuation. addition, various application‐oriented functionalities, such encryption, computing, wave amplification, pressure transmission, also demonstrated taking advantage stable memory tunable stiffness distributions The strategy paves way multifunctional, miniaturized, scalable metamaterials, significant potential soft‐material‐based intelligent devices.
