This research involved conducting continuous adsorption experiments to assess fluoride elimination from drinking water achieved by utilizing biocomposites created the peels of oranges and apples, which were impregnated with zirconium (Zr), form BOP-Zr BAP-Zr, respectively. The findings experimental data indicate that BAP-Zr are effective biosorbents a solid ability remove selectively. Additionally, these found be stable, as they do not release Zr into treated water. Notably, environmentally friendly derived renewable sources enhance value waste materials. study employed various empirical models, including Bohart-Adamas, Thomas, Yoon-Nelson, BDST, Clark, Yan, Woolborska, elucidate mechanisms crucial parameters in within packed bed columns. Yan model demonstrated highest correlation among indicating chemical process kinetics following pseudo-second-order pattern. exhibited maximum capacity 59.3 47.5 mg/g, respectively, under flow rate 4 mL/min an inlet concentration 25 mg/L. analysis mass transfer coefficients revealed primary step governing procedure was diffusion through pores.
