Abstract
In
this
work,
two
novel
pyrimidine‐cored
covalent
organic
frameworks
TpTap‐COF
and
TpTan‐COF
were
synthesized
for
the
first
time
used
adsorption
of
heavy
metal
ions
in
aqueous
solution.
Both
COFs
are
nanofiber
clusters
with
preferable
crystallinity
thermal
stability.

Ionic
covalent
organic
polymers
are
promising
water
pollutant
adsorbents
with
enhanced
adsorption
potential
compared
to
their
neutral
counterparts
benefiting
from
both
electrostatic
attractions
and
the
ion-exchange
process.
This
work
deals
construction
of
a
cationic
COP
through
facile
direct
approach
assessment
its
performance
for
scavenging
Direct
Scarlet
4BS
(DS-4BS)
anionic
dye.

Gibb's

process
is
spontaneous.

endothermic
nature
adsorption,
which
means
increases
increase
in
temperature.
