The landscape of higher education is continuously evolving, with online learning emerging as a prominent educational modality. This cross-sectional study, conducted at the Holy Spirit University Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon from January to October 2023, aimed assess Lebanese students’ perceptions regarding effectiveness mode and develop strategies recommendations for enhancing Lebanon. Using convenience-sampling method, we collected 309 responses, focusing on educators’ preparedness, student satisfaction, adaptability learning, preferences future modalities. results highlighted pressing demand innovative course design that promote engagement interactivity, 41.4% respondents expressing this need. Additionally, 34.6% learners emphasized need accessible technical support. Furthermore, 38.8% participants underscored necessity comprehensive training programs educators navigating environments effectively. Moreover, preference or hybrid models (55%) importance flexibility while preserving value in-person interactions. study also potential advances further enhance environments. These technologies could provide opportunities personalized experiences, tailoring content, delivery methods, assessments meet diverse needs students, thus fostering more adaptable inclusive ecosystem. insights are crucial refining addressing evolving students

The latest developments in virtual reality (VR) are gaining attention education as they expected to provide risk-free, hands-on learning experiences. However, the use of VR laboratory settings is still its early stages adoption. Therefore, it remains unclear whether these technologies will be widely adopted educate students laboratories, well their advantages and disadvantages compared traditional laboratories. This study aims map global scientific publications related for teaching To achieve this, we analyze landscape We combined bibliometric network analysis techniques metadata research articles published between 1994 2022 indexed Web Science Core Collection. Our findings show a rising trend, with almost 65% all 2018 2022. Leading journals include Journal Chemical Education, Computers & Applications Engineering Education. Most areas Education Educational Research, Computer Science, Engineering. United States leads publications, collaborating mostly Denmark, Spain, Kingdom. University California top organization Griffith facilitating knowledge exchange among organizations. By providing an overview education, hope that this interest researchers, educators, students.

Developing countries, including Mexico, face the challenge of integrating technology to enhance education and improve learning outcomes. Despite evidence in many settings benefits using virtual reality (VR) augmented (AR) as tools, their potential use is still understudied developing regions. The objective present study evaluate impact a web-based eXtended Reality (XR) tool, PhysXR, among college-level students enrolled Mexican University. PhysXR application designed users with information focused on Newtonian mechanics. This tool presents interactive experiences ranging from VR AR environments supports physics simulator for experiments physical phenomena dynamics kinematics. Overall, methodologies implemented follow competency-based model Education Institutions, include Learn by Doing Problem Based Learning (PBL). In order 99 were recruited randomized either experimental (VR conditions PhysXR) or control groups. Outcomes included student's motivation, assessed John Keller's Attention, Relevance, Confidence Satisfaction (ARCS) motivation model. Results this indicate that both approaches, generates significant improvement gains compared traditional methods, highlighting cross-platform capabilities XR could offer, well real time simulations learning.
