The present study examined the performance on five phases of critical thinking in gifted and nongifted children two settings: ethical neutral. This research and development aims to produce character-based textbooks using multimedia that are of good quality in terms validity, practicality, effectiveness can improve students' critical thinking skills. The adopted the 4D model, which consists four stages: define, design, develop, disseminate. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, observation sheets teacher student activities, response tests (pretest posttest). results study indicated that: (1) highly appropriate, (2) found be practical based on observations activities received very positive feedback from students, (3) effective improving skills, as demonstrated by medium category n-gain test posttest average score being higher than pretest score. textbook assist teachers instilling character skills fourth grade elementary school students.

The results of observations and interviews at elementary school showed that Indonesian history material was considered difficult for students to accept understand. purpose this study is determine the effect video based learning on cognitive outcomes in schools. This research method an experiment. form experimental design used a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group type. Data analysis carried out through tests normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, independent t-test. first hypothesis test, namely shows there influence seen from Lower Upper which negative, -18.270 -27.312. Scholars have emphasized the importance of situating learners in authentic learning contexts. Nevertheless, it is sometimes challenging to provide with real contexts owing various reasons, such as safety or economic consideration. That is, without clear goal, outcomes could be disappointing. Hence, present study proposes goal-oriented reflection strategy-based (GRS-VR) model. Moreover, VR-based system developed based on To examine effectiveness proposed approach, quasi-experiment was conducted English-speaking course at junior high school. Two classes ninth graders were recruited this study: one class experimental group adopting GRS-VR while control conventional (C-VR) approach. results indicated that had significantly better English oral performance, motivation reflective thinking than C-VR group.
