In the context of ongoing digitisation and robotisation processes, there is an increasing necessity for comprehending texts in electronic formats, which prompts a re-evaluation concept reading literacy. This study aimed to investigate current preferences 614 secondary school pupils, focusing on their choices concerning text types genres that facilitate acquisition new knowledge. Additionally, research sought elucidate strategies employed by pupils comprehend unknown vocabulary methods utilised verifying accuracy information read. A particular focus was placed exploring whether variations understanding unfamiliar words verification are associated with pupils' specific formats. The questionnaire survey findings indicate 75% participants preferred printed books, science fiction fantasy as primary sources acquiring knowledge, chosen 34.2% respondents. Over half (51.3%) reported approach involves inferring meaning from surrounding text. When comprehension material read, 63% respondents indicated reliance strategy repeated reading. Interestingly, did not reveal significant correlation between versus vocabulary. However, it revealed formats exhibit statistically differences assess studied.

Although both prefectural governmental green investment (GGI_city) and provincial (GGI_prov) have potentially diverse impacts on cities’ carbon emission reduction (CER), previous studies rarely examined the effects of (GGI) different indicators CER such as total dioxide emissions (CE), intensity (CEI) per capita (PCE) in context cities nested provinces China. In our research, six hierarchical linear models are established to investigate impact GGI_city GGI_prov, well their interaction, CER. These consider eight control factors, including fractional vegetation coverage, nighttime light index (NTL), proportion built-up land (P_built), so on. Furthermore, heterogeneous across groups based area, terrain, economic development level considered. Our findings reveal following: (1) The three GGI exhibit significant spatial temporal variations. coefficient variation for CEI PCE shows a fluctuating upward characteristic. (2) Both lnGGI_city lnGGI_prov promoted CER, but strength lnCE lnPCE is more pronounced than that lnGGI_city. GGI_prov can strengthen effect significantly lnCE. Diverse variables exerted albeit with considerable effects. (3) upon conducting grouped analysis by area size, terrain complexity, level. interaction term lnGGI_city:lnGGI_prov stronger small group simple group. Background/Objectives: Informed consent is a crucial part of the clinical trial enrollment process in which patients are asked to understand and provide approval for medical interventions. Consent forms can be complex hinder patient comprehension, highlighting need novel tools improve experience. This feasibility study aimed develop an immersive technology enroll human subjects oncology trials 3D avatar-based informed virtual reality (VR) environment. The mean pre-intervention score 64.6%, immediate post-intervention 97.9%. 93.3% four-weeks observed among 10/16 participants who completed questionnaire. Conclusions: These findings support effective at delivering during trials. Key limitations include small sample size single population. Further warranted compare efficacy over traditional consenting mechanisms more diverse populations wider participant pool.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi minat baca siswa, menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan literasi terhadap peningkatan baca, serta mengetahui jenis yang efektif dalam meningkatkan siswa. Variabel bebas penelitian adalah literasi, sedangkan variabel terikatnya Populasi mencakup seluruh siswa SMAN 6 Sinjai, dengan sampel terdiri dari 30 kelas XI. Data diperoleh melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data digunakan statistik deskriptif inferensial. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Sinjai memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 36,17. Uji regresi linier sederhana menghasilkan signifikansi (sig) 0,000 < 0,005 thitung > ttabel (5,138 2,048), mengindikasikan adanya Jenis meliputi kebiasaan membaca 15 menit sebelum pelajaran dimulai rutin bersama setiap hari Sabtu di lapangan Sinjai.

Cultivating scientific literacy is a goal widely shared by educators and students around the world. Many studies have sought to enhance students' proficiency in through various approaches. However, there need explore attributes associated with advanced levels of literacy, especially influence contextual factors. In this context, our study employs machine learning technique-the SVM-RFE algorithm-to identify critical characteristics strong Asia, Europe, South America. Our research has pinpointed 30 key factors from broader set 162 that are indicative outstanding among 15-year-old secondary school students. By utilizing student samples three continents, provides comprehensive analysis these across entire dataset, along comparative examination optimal between continents. The findings highlight importance factors, which should be considered educational policymakers leaders when developing policies instructional strategies foster most effective development literacy.
