The constantly evolving environment imposes increasingly stringent demands on the mechanical qualities of materials employed for absorbing electromagnetic waves (EMWs). Therefore, there is an urgent need advanced capable efficiently EMWs and withstanding harsh conditions. In this study, electrodeposition method was effectively used to synthesize nickel–cobalt layered double hydroxides (NiCo-LDHs) in a controlled manner composite structure carbon nanotubes foam, creating exquisite construction. manipulation time facilitated regulation density within material, thereby significantly enhancing its polarization relaxation performance. Increased defect sites interface enhance impedance matching attenuation constant, resulting greatly improved absorption optimized sample demonstrated exceptional wave-absorbing performance comparative experimental analysis, attaining maximum reflection loss −58.18 dB. It also has effective bandwidth 5.36 GHz at wavelength 2.28 mm. isolation effect LDH, coupled with outstanding insulation ability porous skeleton, confers remarkable corrosion resistance thermal material. Hence, discovery offers novel insights into designing environmentally tolerant absorbent materials.
