Conversion of solid waste tailings into building materials is an effective way to turn resources as well resolve the problems their accumulation and pollution. Herein, in this paper, light-weight high strength molybdenum ceramsites (LHMCs) were prepared using main raw material supplemented with fly ash, sludge, steel slag other wastes by egg-structure (three-layer structure) design high-temperature sintering. The effects ratio, amount carbon powder agent, sintering temperature, time on properties LHMCs investigated, optimal preparation process was proposed be preheating at 400℃ for 60 min 1150℃ 40 min. results physicochemical properties, morphology, component analysis show that including porous core, reinforced middle layer, dense outer layer can significantly increase under premise ensuring low density ceramsites. Meanwhile, doping improves physical achieves reuse tailings. Importantly, optimized meet performance requirements 900-grade This paper proposes a strategy tailings-doped high-strength ceramic materials, which provides new idea recycling waste.
