Waterborne epoxy resin (WER) has excellent chemical stability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties, its application in emulsified asphalt modification is receiving widespread attention road maintenance. In this paper, the properties of waterborne modified (WEA) binder through different preparation processes were investigated, influence WER on microstructure, rheological low-temperature stability was analyzed. The results show that WEA binders prepared using a two-step method can make curing reaction modifier more complete excellent. With increase content, gradually formed continuous skeleton structure asphalt, critical content for phase system to transform from about 15 %. could undergo polymerization reactions process mainly physical modification. linear viscoelasticity range decreased, high-temperature deformation resistance significantly improved. loading frequency also weakened. addition, improve elastic recovery performance asphalt. rate exceeded 98 % when However, had certain adverse effects asphalt's performance, so modifiers' should be strictly controlled.

In order to evaluate the effect and mechanism of composite modifiers on anti-aging property asphalt, this study selected hydrotalcite ultraviolet absorber as prepare different types modified asphalt carry out aging treatment. The effects modification physical rheological properties under conditions were studied by three indices dynamic shear rheometer. distribution interaction characteristics in matrix analyzed scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS). Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) was used analyze changes functional groups characteristic parameters compound asphalt. Based this, a molecular dynamics model constructed, solubility parameters, free volume, mean azimuth shift analyzed. results show that addition modifier can significantly improve UV resistance mainly controlling components groups, good compatibility between ensures effect.
