The waste tire rubber may be incorporated with the cement soil to improve its frost resistance. However, it remains a significant challenge optimise content between mechanical strength and durability under freeze-thaw conditions. In this study, macroscopic properties of ordinary rubber-cement (with particle sizes 30 60 mesh) were explored different cycles (0, 3, 6, 9, 15) by taking wave propagation unconfined compressive (UCS) tests. Subsequently, series scanning electron microscope (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) tests conducted analyse microstructure specimens, further clarifying damage mechanisms in soil. results show that cause irreversible internal soil, leading continuous reductions both velocity UCS.
