Steel
reinforcement
in
marine
concrete
structures
is
vulnerable
to
chloride-induced
corrosion,
which
compromises
its
structural
integrity
and
durability.
This
study
explores
the
combined
effect
of
alloying
element
Cr
smart
corrosion
inhibitor
LDH-NO2
on
enhancing
resistance
steel
reinforcement.
Employing
a
machine
learning
approach
with
support
vector
(SVM)
algorithm,
predictive
model
was
developed
estimate
polarization
steel,
considering
content,
dosage,
environmental
pH,
chloride
concentration.
The
rigorously
trained
validated,
demonstrating
high
accuracy,
correlation
coefficient
exceeding
0.85.
findings
reveal
that
addition
application
synergistically
improve
resistance,
providing
actionable
insights
for
selecting
effective
protection
methods
diverse
environments.

Anchor
cables
in
water-rich
roadways
frequently
experience
severe
corrosion
and
resultant
fractures
due
to
the
combined
effects
of
mine
water
high
stress.
However,
precise
factors
influencing
on
these
remain
ambiguous,
presenting
challenges

safety.

study
investigated
impact

ions
present
weakly
alkaline
anchor
cable
using
salt
spray
experiments.

results
indicated
that
anions
such
as
Cl-
notably
influence
corrosion,
which
primarily
manifested
pitting
corrosion.

strength
decreased
by
95.68–156.01
MPa,
tensile
133.44–202.77
MPa
because
a
decrease
cross-sectional
area.
During
process,
continuously
degraded
passivation
film
surface
cable,
exposing
its
internal
metal
structure
exacerbating
until
eventual
fracture
failure
occurred.
Therefore,
this
paper
proposes
protection
technique
for
realize
superior
protective
compared
conventional
used
concurrently
field
applications.

In
this
study,
the
surface
analysis,
cross-section
analysis
and
electrochemical
were
used
to
explore
formation
mechanism
of
Nb
contents
on
passive
film
high-strength
anti-seismic
rebar
in
simulated
concrete
pore
solution.
