Abstract Plastic is a versatile and cheap material, but extremely durable nearly impossible to decompose in nature. waste not only visual pollution issue also global health problem, as microplastics enter the food chain, affecting both marine life humans. Moreover, mass production of plastic closely linked greenhouse gas emissions depletion natural resources. Pollution caused by PET (polyethylene terephthalate) one most severe forms environmental due excessive use inadequate recycling these materials. PETs are mainly used form containers (bottles), because their durability slow degradation nature, objects become major source pollution, terrestrial aquatic ecosystems. Thus, present article discusses fibers for reinforcing asphalt pavements, similar cement concrete applications. These were added percentage optimal binder content, Marshall specimens fabricated determine apparent density, water absorption, stability flow. The results obtained favorable.
