This study investigated the feasibility of using semi-dry desulfurization ash (DA) in combination with blast furnace slag (BFS) to prepare gelling materials, aiming improve resource utilization DA. The effects DA dosage and mechanical grinding on compressive strength hydration mechanism BFS-DA materials were investigated. results showed that optimum ratio was 60:40, strengths 14.21 MPa, 20.24 43.50 46.27 MPa at 3, 7, 28, 56 days, respectively. Mechanical greatly improved activity gel greatest increase 90 days for BFS mixed milled 30 min, increases 89.86%, 66.36%, 24.56%, 25.68%, respectively, 26.22 35.6 58.33 63.97 cumulative heat slurry about 120 J/g. main products formed ettringite, C-S-H gel, AFm, Friedel’s salt. Calcium sulfite participated hydration, a new product, Ca4Al2O6SO3·11H2O, formed. can be effectively used BFS-based its performance meets requirements GB/T 28294-2024 standard, which provides potential solution resources reduction impact environment.
