Studies

Posttraumatic
stress
disorder
(PTSD)
is
a
chronic
impairment
that
occurs
after
exposure
to
traumatic
events.
This
can
result
in
disturbance

Abstract
Posttraumatic
stress
disorder
(PTSD)
does
not
only
have
direct
consequences
for
well-being,
but
it
also
comes
with
a
significant
risk
severe
somatic
health
consequences.
A
number
of
previous
studies
pointed
to
alterations
in
systems
traumatized
persons,
as
well
the
inflammatory
system,
which

be
important
links

Patients
