Effective corrosion control strategies are highly desired to reduce the fate of corrosion. One widely adopted approach is use inhibitors, which can significantly mitigate detrimental effects This systematic review provides a thorough analysis including both inorganic and organic compounds. It explores inhibition mechanisms, highlighting remarkable inhibitive efficiency compounds attributed presence heteroatoms conjugated π-electron systems. The presents case studies investigations shedding light on their performance application potential.
