Objective – to identify central themes in the relationship between pesticides and cancer associated with rural areas, agriculture or agribusiness, through a Systematic Literature Review. Methodology The research is exploratory, quantitative approach for bibliometric analysis qualitative supervision of articles final corpus discussion themes. Results - indicators demonstrated that topic can be considered recent tendency grow. coupling bibliographic corpus, using VOSviewer software, showed low intensity connections. thematic map highlights emerging about “breast cancer”, “childhood cancer” “nervous system”, niche such as “DNA damage”, basic “environmental protection” motors, “health study”, “risk “exposure pesticides”. Methodological contributions Identification reduced bias by centrality density statistics, which may represent advances knowledge. Social environmental points techniques biomarkers evidence mapping, exposure other gardens, parks, urban cause damage health beyond cancer, lung coronary diseases, DNA damage, reporting strategies reduce these risks use PPE, distance from homes places pesticides, training farmers. However, measures seem insufficient, State regulation allows within certain limits, generally exceeded, contributes environment.
