To investigate the sulfate resistance of cementitious materials incorporating electrolytic manganese residue (EMR), EMR samples (10%, 15%, 20%) were prepared by activating at 800°C. The mass and compressive strength specimens various carbonation ages measured, pore size distribution different soaking was analyzed using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Results indicate that incorporation calcined enhances attack cement mortar, with optimal performance observed a 15% content. During initial immersion phase, both mortar control group showed positive increases. After 180 days immersion, continued to increase, its exceeded 18.53 MPa. Additionally, signal lower compared all other specimens, indicating denser pores less susceptible erosion. Overall, these findings provide theoretical support for utilization in cement- based materials.
