<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">Hydrogen as a chemical energy carrier is considered one of the most promising options to achieve effective decarbonization transportation sector, due its carbon-free composition. This particularly true for applications that rely on internal combustion engines (ICEs), although much research still needed stable, reliable, and safe operations engine. To this purpose, direct injection (DI) gaseous hydrogen during compression stroke offers great potential avoid backfire largely reduce preignition issues, opposed port-fuel injection. Recently, has been dedicated, both experimentally numerically, understanding physics chemistry connected with hydrogen’s mixing processes in ICEs. work presents computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study DI process an optical engine operating at relatively low tumble conditions. Gaseous pressurized 86 bar introduced directly into chamber via centrally mounted 13-hole injector. Numerical simulations are carried out CONVERGE software. Humidification–dehumidification is well-suited for solar-powered operation. Packed bed humidifier an essential system component water evaporation. The present work proposes a new model for biodiesel combustion in an internal engine. This first includes the balance equations of gas dynamics with heat release.
