Ecosystems globally have reached critical tipping points because of climate change, urbanization, unsustainable resource consumption, and pollution. In response, international agreements set targets for conserving 30% global ecosystems restoring degraded lands waters by 2030 (30×30). 2021, the United States a target to jointly conserve restore US 2030, with specific goal coastal ecosystems, namely wetlands, seagrasses, coral oyster reefs, mangrove kelp forests, increase resilience change. Although efforts increased in recent decades, knowledge gaps about effectiveness past current remain. To address key gaps, we first collated information on historic extent drivers change forests States. We then synthesized guiding principles from literature restoration practitioners evaluate ecosystem trade-offs, sustain enhance connectivity, bolster resilience, promote social equity. Abstract The increasing frequency and severity of disturbances to coastal dune ecosystems requires developing implementing restoration strategies that rapidly accelerate re‐establishment vegetation, enhance accretion, ultimately preserve ecosystem services. To assess how re‐establish vegetation counter losses, we conducted a manipulative field experiment on created foredune crest in Northeast Florida, USA determine what combinations planting density, outplant species composition, nutrient addition maximize revegetation rate. Above‐ground biomass densely planted plots with added nutrients was 4.7–7.3 times at conventional densities after only 3 months. Critically, thickly vegetated, high‐density accreted 1–5 cm more sediment months 7.5–22 15 months, demonstrating this method can kickstart dune‐building processes. Additionally, above‐ below‐ground planted, fertilized containing bitter panicum ( Panicum amarum ) were consistently higher sand than similar sea oats Uniola paniculata ), suggesting schemes involving early successional may be most effective for rapid dune‐building. ABSTRACT Afforestation is increasingly recognized as a critical strategy to restore ecosystems and enhance biodiversity on post‐agricultural landscapes. However, agricultural legacies, such altered soil structure, nutrient imbalances, depleted microbial diversity, can slow down forest establishment or cause deviate from expected successional trajectories. Objective Infertility has become one of the major public health problems, and assisted reproductive technology is main treatment. Depressive symptoms are most common mental illnesses treated with this technology. The aim study was to investigate effects partner self-disclosure, marital satisfaction family decision-making power on depressive in therapy patients. Methods A cross-sectional survey satisfaction, performed 1076 patients who underwent IVF/ICSI-ET treatment at Reproductive Medicine Centre First Affiliated Hospital Anhui Medical University. Abstract Many coastal ecosystems are impacted by human pressures. Rocky reefs structurally complex habitats that often support elevated fish abundance and marine biodiversity. In the Baltic Sea, rocky have suffered from extraction for decades, leading to a decrease in hard substrata habitat availability. This study is first restore cobble examine biological effects. Baited unbaited underwater video systems (BRUVS UBRUVS, respectively) were employed across five years monitor communities before reef deployment 2017 after 2018 2021. Using before–after control‐impact (BACI) design with replicates, relative abundances of Atlantic cod ( Gadus morhua ) , herring Clupeidae sp.), goldsinny wrasse Ctenolabrus rupestris ), two‐spotted goby Pomatoschistus flavescens shore crab Carcinus maenas flatfish Pleuronectiformes spp. compared time test sites.
