Hemolymph microbiota and immune effectors’ expressions driven by geographical rearing acclimation of the aquacultured Penaeus stylirostris

In holobiont, microbiota is known to play a central role on the health and immunity of its host. Then, understanding microbiota, dynamic according environmental conditions link would help react potential dysbiosis aquacultured species. While gut highly studied, in marine invertebrates hemolymph often set aside even if it remains an important actor homeostasis. Indeed, harbors factors involved animal homeostasis that interacts with immunity. Southwest Pacific, high economical valued shrimp Penaeus stylirostris reared two contrasted sites, New Caledonia (NC) French Polynesia (FP). We characterized active inhabiting shrimps while considering stability during seasons at one-month interval evidenced microbial variability between rearing sites. highlighted specific biomarkers along common core composed 6 ASVs. Putative functions were mostly associated bacterial competition, infections metabolism NC, they cell FP suggesting site discrimination. Differential relative expression immune effectors measured populations from NC FP, exhibited higher level compared FP. addition, differential was correlated based their geographical location. Our data suggest that, Pacific shrimps, both could have undergone immunostimulation as well adaptative divergence Further, identification proxies such biomarkers, be used guide future actions monitor thus preserve productions.
