Abstract Unselfishness is admired, especially when collaborations between groups of various scales are urgently needed. However, its neural mechanisms remain elusive. In a tri‐MRI dyad‐hyperscanning experiment involving 26 groups, each containing 4 participants as two rotating pairs in coordination game, we sought to achieve reciprocity, or “winning turn by the interacting players,” precursor unselfishness. Due critical role social processing, right temporal–parietal junction (rTPJ) was seed for both time domain (connectivity) and frequency (i.e., coherence) analyses. For former, negative connectivity rTPJ mentalizing network areas (e.g., inferior parietal lobule, rIPL) identified, such further negatively correlated with individual's final gain, supporting our task design that “rewarded” reciprocal participants. latter, cerebral coherences rTPJs emerged within‐group pairs), coupling superior temporal gyrus (rSTG) players who were not other noninteracting pairs). These reinforce hypotheses rTPJ–rTPJ tracks collaboration processes rTPJ–rSTG emergence decontextualized shared meaning. Our results underpin roles (inferring others’ behavior interpreting outcomes) subserved rTPJ‐related highlight interaction other‐self/other‐concerning brain reaching co‐benefits among unselfish players.

Abstract Emotional contagion refers to the tendency for individuals replicate emotional states of others primarily within context social interactions. Prior research has focused on real-time during interpersonal communication. However, this study proposed that interaction experiences might also play a role in promoting contagion. To investigate issue, present divided participants into interactive group and control conducted EEG-based hyperscanning impact experience Behavioral results indicated reported greater psychological closeness their partners after experiencing interaction. Additionally, showed stronger congruence between observers senders. EEG further demonstrated inter-brain synchrony phase among observer sender was significantly higher than group, particularly negative emotions. This suggests may affect by altering states. It adds our understanding how interactions can shape emphasizes be key factor

Modern technology allows for simultaneous neuroimaging from interacting caregiver-child dyads. Whereas most analyses that examine the coordination between brain regions within an individual do so by measuring changes relative to observed events, studies two brains generally this average intra-brain across entire blocks or experimental conditions. In other words, they not in inter-brain behavioural events. Here, we discuss limitations of approach. First, present data suggesting fine-grained temporal interdependencies behaviour can leave residual artifact data. We show how manifest as both power and (through that) phase synchrony effects EEG affect wavelet transform coherence fNIRS analyses. Second, different possible mechanistic explanations is established maintained. argue non-event-locked approaches struggle differentiate them. Instead, contend which interpersonal dynamics change around events have better potential addressing artifactual confounds teasing apart overlapping mechanisms drive coordination.

This study evaluates the links between representative indices of companies with high environmental performance and propensity such to economic financial shocks.Five indices, representing segments four global macroeconomic variables, were analyzed over a thirteen-year period, which included various crisis moments, as sovereign debt crisis, COVID-19 pandemic onset Russia/Ukraine conflict.Using dynamic nonlinear models, our research reveals statistically significant consistent relationships variables under investigation, particularly during periods crises. The analysis revealed that VIXCLS is most influential risk factor, certain factors being influenced by segments, Alternative Energy. This influence can create conditions conducive contagion diminish benefits portfolio diversification. This contributes deeper understanding connection investments their vulnerability events risks.
