Background and objective: To effectively understand communicate their work, landscape designers should possess excellent spatial abilities. Neurological methods have confirmed that activation of the occipital lobe, parietal cortex, prefrontal cortex affect judgment space; however, few studies measured abilities in design. This study aimed to identify potential role various brain regions during interpretation processes by designers, particularly effect stimulating frontal lobe on enhancing design capabilities.Methods: tested when transforming a planar drawing into sectional activated this process. Abstract The study presented in this paper applies hidden Markov modeling (HMM) to uncover the recurring patterns within a neural activation dataset collected while designers engaged design concept generation task. HMM uses probabilistic approach that describes data (here, fMRI neuroimaging data) as dynamic sequence of discrete states. Due to the widespread involvement of distributed collaboration triggered by COVID-19, it has become a new trend that continued into post-pandemic era. This study investigated collective performance within two collaborative environments (co-located and distancing settings) assessing inter-brain synchrony patterns (IBS) among design collaborators using functional near-infrared spectroscopy. The preliminary was conducted with three dyads who possessed 2-3 years professional product experience. Each dyad completed designated tasks in distinct settings. In condition, participants interacted through video conferencing which they were allowed communicate verbalization sketching shared digital whiteboard. To prevent influences different tools on outputs, we employed for both environments. interactions between identified behaviors: verbal only, sketch mixed communication (verbal sketch). consequences revealed higher level IBS when took place conditions than co-located conditions. In product design engineering, ideation involves producing ideas for new products that fulfil functional requirements. Ideation is associated with activity in multiple regions across the brain. However, knowledge about how these interact limited. an fMRI study of professional engineers (n = 30), we examined neural activated during compared three control conditions (rest, working memory and visuospatial processing). Using Psychophysiological Interactions analysis, identified increased connectivity between five interest other areas. This included coupling executive salience networks, default mode visual networks. Within cognitive psychology, there are separate experimental fields devoted to the study of creativity, on one hand, and aesthetics, other, with virtually no cross-talk between them. Neuroarchitecture research investigates how environmental design affects the nervous system using quantitative methods. However, for user-centered design, qualitative is equally important to actively involve users in process. This aims bridge this gap by extracting principles elementary schools, emphasizing student involvement.
