A hallmark of high-risk childhood medulloblastoma is the dysregulation RNA translation. Currently, it unknown whether dysregulates translation putatively oncogenic non-canonical open reading frames (ORFs). The nucleolus is a subnuclear compartment critical in ribosome biogenesis and cellular stress responses.
