The impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on families young children with disabilities is well documented; however, there little published research experiences pediatricians and Part C Early Intervention (EI) personnel during pandemic. This study examined collective general EI related to delivering services their Qualitative analyses semi-structured interviews conducted between November 2020 February 2021 revealed a significant decline in number identified referred programs. Additionally, 14 providers four who were interviewed suggested that those either not linked program or experienced delayed evaluations. There was consensus among telehealth an ideal platform for conducting developmental screening eligibility evaluations aged birth 3 pandemic, particularly new where limited contextual information, rapport had yet been established provider family.
