Abstract
Surface
and
interface
engineering
has
been
proven
to
be
an
essential
strategy
for
designing
more
advanced
photocatalysts
with
enhanced
photocatalytic
activity.
Activated
biocarbon
derived
from
sugarcane
bagasse
(SB‐C)
is
used
as
a
supporting
substrate
Molybdenum
diselenide
(MoSe
2
)
design
the
heterostructure
photocatalyst
improve
charge
separation
transfer.
Compared
individual
MoSe
,
synthesized
different
techniques,
SB‐C
components,
SB‐C/MoSe
heterojunctions
demonstrated
significantly
ability
degrade
organic
pollutants
(including
dyes,
solvent,
heavy
metal)
under
visible
light
irradiation,
achieving
best
rate
of
97.17%
20
min
irradiation
degrading
methylene
blue
dye
(MB),
