Abstract Waste orychophragmus violaceus was used to prepare a novel 3D self‐doped (N/O) porous carbon (OPC). The aim expand the application and increase value of waste violaceus. In order improve its specific capacitance, composites OPC@MnO 2 x OPC MnO were prepared by simple hydrothermal method. 6 M KOH, capacitance obtained at 1 A g −1 is 268 F , surprisingly, 32 can be up 419 retention rate as high 83.62 % after 10000 cycles (20 ). energy density 32//OPC asymmetric supercapacitor in Na SO 4 even reach 14.22 Wh kg 400 W besides, it showed good cycling stability ), with 86.64 %. The multipurpose properties of mixed metal oxides have garnered significant interest. This study's ternary composite MnO2/CuO/ZrO2 (MCZ) exhibited promising morphology, conductivity and electrochemical performance. MCZ nanocomposite was synthesized via hydrothermal methods. impact electrolytes like Potassium hydroxide (KOH) on supercapacitor features investigated. XRD analysis determined the crystalline structure, while FTIR confirmed presence Cu–O, O-Mn–O Zr–O bonds. SEM revealed uniform aggregated particles, EDAX elemental composition. Abstract Surface and interface engineering has been proven to be an essential strategy for designing more advanced photocatalysts with enhanced photocatalytic activity. Activated biocarbon derived from sugarcane bagasse (SB‐C) is used as a supporting substrate Molybdenum diselenide (MoSe 2 ) design the heterostructure photocatalyst improve charge separation transfer. Compared individual MoSe , synthesized different techniques, SB‐C components, SB‐C/MoSe heterojunctions demonstrated significantly ability degrade organic pollutants (including dyes, solvent, heavy metal) under visible light irradiation, achieving best rate of 97.17% 20 min irradiation degrading methylene blue dye (MB), solvent viz. Phenol takes 120 mins 94.25%. This remarkable capability driven by efficient interfacial transfer, larger electrochemical surface area 5402.85 cm lower bandgap energy 2.38 eV, reduced recombination electron‐hole pairs. shown excellent stability 99.35% up four cycles.
