Background: Children are susceptible to various types of infections and diseases because their low weakened immune system. In communities throughout the world, medicinal plants have historically been used treat manage paediatric ailments.Aim: The current study was aimed at identifying analysing traditionally in Zimbabwe.Setting: This review provides an overview ailments Zimbabwe.Method: Ethnobotanical information on Zimbabwe obtained using online databases such as Scopus, JSTOR, PubMed, Google Scholar Science Direct.Results: A total 178 taxa belonging 64 families documented traditional medicines for Zimbabwe. Cryptolepis oblongifolia, Asparagus spp., Dichrostachys cinerea, Fadogia ancylantha, Inula glomerata, Lannea edulis Strychnos spinosa most popular with four five use reports each. South Africa hosts >1.2 million immigrants, 75% from Africa.
