Despite the risks associated with generative AI (GenAI) chatbots, people increasingly use these technologies, which may seem contradictory. This study identified and explored factors related to trust, perceived values, satisfaction, sustainable of GenAI chatbots. Relying on IS theories build a stimulus-organism-response model, authors tested model using PLS-SEM data from 393 ChatGPT users. The results show that user competence autonomy dramatically increase user's trust in ChatGPT, improves hedonic value (HV), utilitarian (UV), value-in-use, task-technology fit (TTF), information accuracy, knowledge acquisition, informativeness, satisfaction. In addition satisfaction depends HV, UV, TTF. sustainability HV However, privacy concerns, risks, awareness do not affect consumer trust. There is complete mediation between sustainability, as well sustainability.

Purpose Humanoid social robots (HSRs) are an innovative technology revitalizing various service sectors, such as the hospitality industry. However, limited research has explored how anthropomorphic features of HSRs influence user satisfaction with services delivered by HSRs. To address this, a model was proposed to evaluate three distinct features: appearance, voice and response, impact perceived values (i.e. utilitarian, hedonic values) HSRs, which, in turn, satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach Data from online survey hotel customers utilized test ( N = 509). Findings The results indicated that voice, response affect differently. feature demonstrated strongest on values. In addition, affected all values, while appearance only utilitarian Furthermore, showed positive impacts satisfaction, value being most influential factor. Originality/value This study contributes literature anthropomorphism explaining different users’ perceptions HSR utilizing stimulus-organism-response (SOR) framework.
