The removal of contaminants from the water system is so significant for better human life. Adsorption method proven to be best decontamination waste water. Adsorbent based on biohydrogel widely used this purpose biooriginated adsorbent named GG-g- P(AA)/CoFe2O4 (30 mg)-GGAACF-3 was synthesised and utilised combine metformin hydrochloride (MF) diclofenac sodium (DCF). prepared using free radical initiator ammonium persulphate(APS), cross-linked crosslinking agent N, N'- methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) accelerator tetramethyl ethylenediamine (TEMED). GGAACF-3 exhibited high efficiency DCF than MF. highest MF found 82.17% 69.26% at dose 40 mg, neutral pH, room temperature (20°C) contact time 24 h, respectively. both drugs followed Langmuir adsorption isotherm Pseudo- 2nd-order model kinetic which indicated about homogeneous surface chemisorption, maximum capacity (qe) determined 123.60 mg/g 120.7729 mg/g,

Coconut coir was explored as economical sorbent for the adsorptive removal of lanthanum ion (La3+) from aqueous media. Both column and batch studies were conducted to assess effective La3+ on coconut by optimizing different adsorption variables such bed height, flow rate, pH, adsorbent dosage, shaking time, initial metal concentration, temperature. Characterization carried out scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FT-IR, BET prior subsequent adsorption. The defined in certain media pHzpc, which found be 5.7 ± 0.1. optimum 94.04 0.2% observed 4 cm3 90 mol/L solution with 0.3 g dose 10 min at neutral pH. Langmuir capacity 𝑞𝑒=2.88±0.02 𝑚𝑔 𝑔−1 Freundlich KF =0.1294±0.03 𝑔−1. pseudo-second-order kinetic isotherm models provided an ideal fit process. analysis also showed direct correlation height concentration % adsorption, while decreased rate increased. high regression coefficient values confirm that BDST model is line test data. Van't Hoff equation proved spontaneous endothermic Effect external ions desorption are studied. results suggest a cost efficient bio-sorbent solution.

The current study mainly deals with the adsorptive removal of diclofenac sodium (DS) drug from aqueous solution by use kaolin-CS-g-poly(AA-co-NIPAM) composite. synthesised composite was characterised Fourier Transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Transmission (TEM), energy dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDS), atomic force (AFM), swelling % ratio and point zero charge (pHPZC). pHpzc determined to be 4. maximum adsorption capacity 18.51 mg/g observed at optimised conditions, including 0.1 g kaolin clay dose, neutral pH using dose 0.06 for 90 min. optimum concentration 500 mg/l temperature 30°C. Effect ionic strength on its mechanism DS has also been investigated. process prepared chemical data fits well pseudo second order Langmuir model. Overall, spontaneous endothermic in nature.
