The search for sustainable and efficient remediation techniques is required to control increasing environmental pollution caused by synthetic dyes, heavy metal ions, other harmful pollutants. From this point of view, natural polymers like chitosan, cellulose, lignin, pectin have been found highly promising due their biodegradability, availability, possibility chemical functionalization. Polysaccharide-based biopolymeric magnetic hydrogels have garnered significant attention as effective materials for wastewater treatment due to their high adsorption capacity and environmentally friendly nature.
