The utilisation of heavy metal-based nanoparticles in cosmetic products has been steadily increasing because their extraordinary physicochemical properties and benefits. In this thorough review, we will delve into the various types nanoparticles, such as green metallic carbon-based with a special focus on nanoparticles. These exhibit exceptional physical mechanical properties, making them suitable materials for personal care products. Silver effectively treat acne have strong antimicrobial while gold anti-ageing anti-inflammatory properties. ZnO TiO2 are commonly used sunscreens ultraviolet (UV) filters to protect against ultraviolet-A (UVA) ultraviolet-B (UVB) radiation.
