Introduction
The
circular
economy
(CE)
has
emerged
as
a
key
paradigm
for
promoting
sustainable
economic
development
by
enhancing
resource
efficiency,
minimizing
waste,

frameworks,
the
practical
implementation
efficiency

CE
strategies
across
countries
remain
insufficiently
evaluated.
Methods
This
study
employs
methodological
approach
based
on
Data
Envelopment
Analysis
(DEA)
to
assess
territorial
27
European
Union
(EU)
countries.

composite
indicator
was
constructed
using
relevant
metrics
obtained
from
Eurostat,
enabling
comparative
analysis
national
performance
achieving
circularity.

variation
among
EU
Netherlands,
