Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) represents a vital technology for addressing pressing global challenges such as climate change carbon emissions. This research aims to explore the relationship between CCUS capability emissions in United States considering thirteen predictors of Incorporating these predictors, we aim offer policymakers insights enhance capabilities reduce We utilize diverse econometric techniques: OLS, Lasso, Ridge, Elastic Net, Generalized Method Moments, Seemingly Unrelated Regression. Net outperforms other models explaining CCUS, while OLS is effective observe positive impacts number projects foreign direct investment on capacity, but limited influence from level. Policy strategies to foster climate-change resilient ecosystems require broad-based identification of the mechanisms underlying nexus.
