This study was aimed at investigating the network structures of fatigue symptoms in patients with advanced cancer, a focus on identifying central symptom-an aspect crucial for targeted and effective symptom management. In this cross-sectional study, cancer were recruited from treatment center tertiary hospital China between January December 2022. Symptom occurrence severity assessed Cancer Fatigue Scale. Network analysis conducted to explore structure identify core symptoms. The included 416 cancer. Lack energy (2.25 ​± ​1.24), lack interest anything (2.20 ​1.22), self-encouragement (2.03 ​1.25) most severe belonged affective dimension. overall network, reluctance (r s ​= ​5.622), heavy tired body ​5.424), tiring easily ​5.319) had highest strength values. All these classified within physical dimension remained stable before after adjustment covariates. identified reluctance, body, as thus providing valuable insight help clinical nurses formulate more management strategies. Future interventions could assess efficacy targeting cluster alleviating other patient burden.

Abstract Background Through advocacy initiatives such as roadshows during “National ACP Week”, the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) had increased advance care planning (ACP) engagement since 2011. Project Happy Apples (PHA), a community initiative project led by medical students from National University of Singapore, also conducted public exhibition to raise awareness this period. This study aimed investigate and identify predictors attitudes towards documentation among ‘ACP Week’ respondents which may be used formulate strategies increase in Singapore. Methods A cross-sectional on 262 local were conducted. Multiple logistic regression models built associations between demographic variables toward documentation. Results The mean age was 43.5 years (SD = 17.4), 79 (30.15%) males 49 (18.7%) healthcare professionals (HCP). 117 (44.66%) prior experience with serious illness 116 (44.27%) heard ACP. Abstract Background This study aimed to (1) summarise research on the impact of peer support interventions at improving psychosocial functioning among cancer survivors, and (2) identify key components for developing a intervention patients with rare living in rural, regional or remote areas. Methods A comprehensive search EMBASE, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Cochrane Library identified papers that examined interventions: (i) patients, (ii) those locations, (iii) provided online via telehealth. After screening, data characteristics, were extracted. Quality assessment was conducted, findings synthesised narratively. Results total 23 unique studies included, primarily exploring middle-aged females breast diagnosis. Interventions telephone-based, targeting range outcomes significant improvements found coping abilities loneliness. Abstract Purpose To understand in greater depth patients’ experiences of living and coping with extranodal NK-/T- cell lymphoma, to inform the development models care for this population. Methods A qualitative descriptive approach including face interviews semi-structured questions was applied study. The were audio-recorded transcribed verbatim. Results Twenty-one patients interviewed from December 2019 May 2023. Four key themes emerged: (1) physical challenges adaptation (symptom burden, shift social roles); (2) psychological stress adjustment (denial anger, delayed diagnosis, stress); (3) reorganization daily life (focusing on their illness, focusing present, reorganization); (4) seeking feedback support (social support, shame, escape, grateful feedback). Conclusions findings gave a broad insight into profound impact lymphoma. patients, easily accessible services are needed improve quality life. That includes timely providing information, understanding patient process, management symptoms.
