This study aimed to reveal the effects of crude oil addition on characteristics soil microbial communities and ecosystem multifunctionality in Achnatherum splendens Pennisetum alopecuroides . Specifically, it explored how influences relationship between nutrient regulation, community characteristics, multifunctionality. The results indicated that as increased, Shannon index Chao1 for bacteria fungi both increased. Conversely, while archaea species decreased. ecological network analysis a strong collaborative existed bacterial exposed 10 g/kg oil, well fungal archaeal 40 oil. A was also observed exerted significant direct negative regulatory effect , had positive effect. Additionally, showed decline with increasing addition. is likely due higher toxicity high-concentration which negatively impacts biological community, leading reduced biodiversity disruptions cycles. explores bacterial, fungal, under different levels can provide theoretical support evaluating restoration from pollution.

Toxic metals cause risks to the ecological environment. Typha latifolia L. is a good candidate clean potentially toxic contaminated water or soil. However, limited research investigated impact of environmental factors (e.g., pH, soil substrate, flood duration) on metal accumulations in cattails. In this study, cattails were cultured soils flooded with artificial wastewater varying pH (5, 7 9) and different levels Cr, Cd Zn for four weeks investigate interactions between conditions uptake The content biomass measured by an inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometer.

This study aims to understand the risks posed by metals in Peruvian coffee plantations human health and environmental integrity, ensuring protection of local communities ecosystems reliant on this agricultural activity. To assess contamination levels, arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb) were surveyed soil, roots, parchment beans cultivated Amazonas San Martin regions, using both conventional organic cultivation. Results showed that As was metal with highest concentration soil (52.37 ± 21.16 mg/kg), roots (11.27 2.3 (10.19 1.69 followed Cr (22.36 11.47 mg/kg) (8.17 3.85 Pb (0.7 0.05 mg/kg). Cd only detected (1.70 1.73 The bioaccumulation (BAF) findings suggest have a low capacity accumulate As, Cd, Ni, Pb, but they potential Cr. translocation factor (TF) indicated all values less than one, except for from geo-accumulation index (Igeo) unpolluted Cr, polluted different extents Cd. Similarly, ecological risk (ER) pointed considered depending region cultivation system. Hazard (adults: 1.68 × 10−3, children: 9.26 10−3) cancer 1.84 10−7, 2.51 10−7) humans via ingestion, dermal contact, inhalation.
