Reconciling carbon emissions and GDP development is a challenge for most Chinese cities in the sustainable process. Taking Yangtze River Delta of China as an example, this study calculated carbon-emission inventories five typical years assigned anthropogenic to land-use types. A multi-objective particle swarm algorithm was used consider three functions allocation: maximizing GDP, minimizing emissions, suitability. Thereafter, technique order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) method combined find optimal emission economic trade-offs. It observed that Jiangsu has largest region; energy consumption main source industrial land intensive region. The allocation obtained optimization with TOPSIS evaluation increases reduces which worthy reference planners. Land use from perspective balancing can provide useful rational resources socio-economic development.

Exploring the spatial network structure of land-use carbon emissions (LUCE) and balance in developing regions is pivotal for climate change mitigation these areas. Using socio-economic data from 2000 to 2020, this study focused on Jiangxi Province as a representative case elucidate LUCE conduct zoning. The primary findings were follows: (1) distribution demonstrated pattern with high values northwest low southeast. An increasing trend was observed total amount LUCE. Furthermore, there evident regional differences Ecological Support Coefficient (ESC), indicating weakening sink capacity. (2) intricate but stable. Although gravitational interactions between cities have intensified, overall connectivity remained moderately correlated, prominent development imbalance. (3) There pronounced "core-periphery" correlation network. Northern "core" network, taking an "initiator" role, whereas most southern played "passive" resided at "periphery" inter-regional exhibited spillover, inter-block correlations surpassing those within blocks. (4) By leveraging empirical metrics, we categorized into five distinct zoning types subsequently proposed optimization strategies. From perspective social analysis (SNA), offers methodological insights low-carbon synergistic emission reduction regions.

Against the backdrop of global warming, carbon emissions have become a major concern. Carbon from land use (CELU) play significant role in shaping efforts to reduce and achieve neutrality. Using China Land Cover Dataset (CLCD) alongside socioeconomic data, we conducted comprehensive CELU calculations for Hubei Province. Our approach involves integrating Markov time transfer matrix delineate spatiotemporal evolution characteristics CELU, employing Tapio elastic adaptation model analyze decoupling economic development, leveraging geographic detectors identify primary influencing factors their interactions, both internally externally. Subsequently, formulated recommendations low-carbon development response our findings. The key results are as follows. (1) Between 1995 2019, total Province exhibited consistent increase, characterized by an initial acceleration growth followed gradual slowdown. (2) During same period, witnessed multiple types decoupling, with weak emerging prevailing trend. (3) explanatory power (q-values) internal external ranged 0.179 0.935. Moreover, interaction these exceeded 0.5, indicating overall effect. This study presents strategy that offers robust scientific basis government policymakers craft emission reduction strategies. Additionally, it serves valuable reference fostering long-term high-quality development.

Ecological resilience (ER) is considered a key factor in resolving complex human and natural systems conflicts managing risk during the period of rapid development. However, importance landscape patterns for ER not given enough attention previous studies. Therefore, we selected Yangtze River Delta region as study area, incorporated into assessment proposed way identifying ecological sources based on combination ecosystem services patterns. Combining multidimensional indicators system, calculated explored nonlinear effects using random forest regression model. The results showed that comparative analysis enhanced scientificity source identification. We identified 94 mainly southern region, including important mountain ranges water bodies. In addition, was significantly strengthened by considering indicated relationship between other elements terms ER. This can contribute to comprehensive integrated approach identification evaluation ER, which promote conservation regional functions.
