This paper provides a comprehensive review of the current state research on robotic technologies in sports, with specific emphasis skiing. Using systematic methodology, I conducted an extensive search for relevant academic articles and conference papers across several databases, including Scopus, Web Science, IEEE. A predefined set keywords guided process, leading to initial collection 327 papers. After applying selection criteria, 24 studies were identified as most topic. These selected works analyzed detail, covering various key aspects robotics skiing, from biomechanical modeling ski systems. The findings underscore growing interest this interdisciplinary field while also highlighting significant gaps, particularly stability control, real-time terrain perception, snow–surface interaction. Overall, concludes that promising developments exist, is still its early stages would benefit greatly collaboration more robust real-world experimentation.

Numerous interactions between human activities and wildlife currently impact various species. In recent decades, these have contributed to declining sea turtle populations. The waters around Spain serve as important staging areas for turtles, particularly Caretta caretta, which spend part of their life cycle there. However, same threaten turtles because causes stranding. This study aims comprehensively understand the rehabilitation process animals at Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WRC) La Tahonilla in Tenerife, Canary Islands. It also seeks explore efforts different centers focused on recovering both mainland Additionally, we examined procedures addressing stranded where a recovery center does not exist. Our findings reveal existence varying protocols among Spain’s islands. Improving unifying is essential enhancing Spain.

Soft modular biomimetic robots, driven by flexible actuators, are extensively used in various fields due to their excellent flexibility, environmental adaptability, and isomorphism. However, existing modules typically possess no more than two degrees of freedom for structural limitations. In this study, a three-degree-of-freedom segment water hydraulic artificial muscles (WHAMs) supported springs was proposed, achieving integrated design. The continuum robot composed can execute earthworm-, snake-, elephant trunk-biomimetic motion modes based on operational constraints. During long-distance tasks, distinct segments the adopt varying configurations meet specific requirements. closed-loop control characteristic tests were conducted single evaluate its characteristics. isomorphic master controller designed range segment, with maximum bending angle deviation between not exceeding 4°, system demonstrating favorable stability.
