Abstract River basin cities are areas with remarkable conflicts between the human activity and ecological environment. They also important targets for policy implementation of sustainable high-quality development (HD) in various countries around world. This article exploits panel data 99 located Yellow Basin (YRB) from 2006 to 2019 empirically analyze spatial effect financial growth on HD. Spatial weights participated econometric models utilized this effect. Empirical results reveal that: (1) HD YRB shows a strong positive autocorrelation. (2) Financial exerts an N-shaped curve long-term perspective. When influence spills out surroundings, it exhibits inverted U-shaped characteristic. (3) Green innovation can be intermediary factor (4) The appears stronger regions higher economic levels, where effects transmitted surrounding regions. However, backward low-economy prevents spillover effects. study instrumental formulate policies that aim promote river cities.

High-Quality Development (HQD) can well meet human’s growing needs for a better life, and it is an important manifestation of efficient, fair sustainable development. It crucial turning point China from high-speed development to HQD. A understanding the HQD perspective efficiency very China. Using prefecture-level city panel data 2005 2019, this study built model coupled with innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, sharing, slacks-based measure (ICGOS-SBM) based on Super-SBM slack variables. By introducing thinking, measured level Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB, one driving forces spearheading China’s in new era) “quality”, explored its spatial temporal distribution characteristics. The results showed that (a) levels YREB presented “N”, pattern rising first, then falling, rising; (b) exhibited noticeable regional heterogeneity different urban scale, trend upper drove middle downstream; (c) degrees agglomeration, increasing over time, high-high agglomeration areas were mainly concentrated natural endowments; (d) trajectory moved back forth southwest-northeast direction, which may be due unstable development, showing relatively obvious back-and-forth movement between Changde Jingzhou. aims provide innovative measurement by thinking.

Carbon dioxide emission is an important driving factor of global warming and it has threatened the ecological environment human survival. Among them, land use led to significant carbon emissions that profoundly affect climate system change. The Yellow River Basin (YRB) one regions with most concentrated contradictions in population, resources, China; thus, studying current situation (LUCE) for mitigating warming, promoting coordinated reduction among different basin, achieving conservation high-quality development YRB. This study based on socio-economic data, carried out from perspective social network analysis. spatiotemporal variation LUCE YRB was analyzed using coefficient method. spatial spillover effects were discussed analysis methods. PLUS model used simulate differences under scenarios. results indicate that: (1) showed increasing trend during period, distribution. (2) There a effect correlation between cities network, superior economic had greater impact other cities. (3) In 2030, protection scenario, lowest, 2.7 × 106 tons compared natural further illustrating importance land. Compared previous studies, this explores various new On hand, makes prediction 2030 by setting research have broadened application scope methods, practical significance major river basins scientifically formulating policies.
