Post-disaster rapid recovery and reconstruction, along with the evaluation of these efforts, are crucial for affected areas. They not only facilitate swift repair vulnerable systems but also reflect whether work has enhanced regional coordinated development. This is vital achieving sustainable development post-reconstruction. study addresses two main questions: (1) How effective were reconstruction efforts in Mianyang, Deyang, Guangyuan post-Wenchuan earthquake from a socio-economic–ecological system perspective? (2) What temporal spatial changes Coordinated Development Index (CDI) key counties? By constructing framework to assess post-disaster development, this utilized entropy weight method mean-variance comprehensive weighting indicators. The gray prediction model G(1,1) was used forecast levels three cities 2019 2025. findings reveal following: From 2005 2018, CDI Guangyuan, Mianyang showed significant upward trend. Post-earthquake measures like land planning ecological restoration notably resilience promoted among social, economic, systems. Despite overall success disparities persist Guangyuan. The non-coordination between the socio-economic systems and ecosystems of a region is crucial obstacle to sustainable development. To reveal relationships complex urban achieve goal coordinated development, we constructed coupling coordination degree model (CCDM) angle (CAM) analyzed evolution process among population, water resources, economy, ecology (PWEE) system Tuha for 2005–2020. results indicated that: (1) During 2005–2020, comprehensive development index (CDI) resources economy subsystems was 0.21–0.65, with three portraying an overall increase; average values RSEI at five-year intervals were 0.29, 0.28, 0.26, indicating downward trend in environmental quality. (2) effect PWEE portrayed low level; (CCD) 0.28–0.58, fluctuating upward trend. level CCD increased from disorder marginal coordination. National parks play a crucial role in the worldwide system of natural conservation, significantly influencing land utilization, sustainability local livelihoods, and environmental integrity nearby regions. China has been facing a contradiction between its water supply and demand for long time, it is urgent that builds “water-saving society”. Previous research on pricing mainly focused the policy level, only considering sides ignoring participation of local governments. Due to inconsistent approval mechanisms, different times cost formation, lack scientific relationship multiple sources users, with current in China, difficult solve complex problem resource allocation. This study aimed promote qualitative reuse reclaimed water, achieve high-quality low-cost supply, explore role water-pricing mechanisms regulation multi-source configurations.
