ABSTRACT
Sustainability
awards
are
often
seen
as
a
mark
of
credibility
and
can
help
companies
attract
new
customers,
investors
partners.
However,
there
is
some
question
to
whether
the

Abstract
The
development
of
the
circular
economy
(CE)
has
become
a
strategic
priority
for
EU
to
achieve
UN’s
Sustainable
Development
Goals.
While
number
CE-based
start-ups
is
burgeoning,
established
companies
seem
be
slower
adopt
CE.
Incorporating
CE
principles
requires
firms
transform
their
business
processes
and
activities
from
linear
approach,
which
often
introduction
significant
complementary
technological
non-technological
innovations,
as
well
investments
that
may
hamper
firm’s
overall
performance.
Thus,
disruptive
nature
adoption
make
reluctant
embrace
this

Purpose

Abstract
A
transition
towards
a
circular
economy
(CE)
often
involves
the
development
and
adoption
of
novel
technologies

models.
Its
implementation,
however,
requires
close
collaboration
within

organizations
along
supply
chains.
In
this
paper,
we
investigate
incentive
alignment
for
implementation

bonding,

that
enables
separating
materials
on
demand.
We
use
data
from
semi‐structured
interviews
with
chain
actors
in
manufacturing
construction

its
potential
process
optimization

repair,
refurbishment,
recycling
opportunities.
