The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) promotes sustainable development in the participating countries by facilitating technology transfer, talent development, industrial upgrading. Technological cooperation under BRI plays a crucial role helping these achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, also faces significant challenges, including geopolitical, economic, social, environmental, legal risks. This paper reviews current research on technological cooperation, covering models, influencing factors, mechanisms, economic social impacts of such cooperation. It examines both opportunities challenges involved provides policy recommendations action plans. review offers valuable insights for researchers interested contributes to advancing countries.

The current research work emphasizes the urgent need for a paradigm shift in Mediterranean tourism, advocating adoption of comprehensive framework centered on sustainability Tunisia. establishment an Inter-Ministerial Task Force is proposed to facilitate collaboration across governmental sectors, thereby enhancing governance and addressing complexities waste management within tourism industry. Results reveal significant inefficiencies underscore potential integrated approaches that can lead substantial environmental improvements. By fostering inter-ministerial collaboration, strategic roadmap provided promotes effective resource recovery sustainable practices. Furthermore, integration informal sector, exemplified by local recyclers, into formal systems anticipated enhance social equity bolster stewardship. A SWOT analysis identifies Tunisia’s intrinsic strengths, including its rich cultural heritage eco-tourism potential, while simultaneously exposing shortcomings such as fragmented structures insufficient infrastructure. It posited creation centralized coordination body, coupled with enhancement public–private partnerships, could catalyze innovation practices, leading increased investment opportunities successful implementation circular economy principles. Drawing inspiration from Spain’s model, actionable recommendations policymakers are offered, introduction eco-certification programs aimed at incentivizing environmentally responsible practices sector. Ultimately, aspires position Tunisia regional leader delivering long-term benefits communities through enhanced protection economic resilience.

Exploring the dynamic synergistic effect and driving mechanism of green technology innovation (GTI) tourism development (TGD) is great significance for reducing environmental footprint tourism, enhancing capacity sustainable development, promoting practical application industrial upgrading. This study takes 41 cities in Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region China as research objects, time span from 2007 to 2023. The effects mechanisms GTI are revealed by comprehensively adopting coupled coordination model panel quantile regression model. results this show that (1) average value coupling degree (CCD) shows a small upward trend, with regional differences Shanghai > Zhejiang Jiangsu Anhui. (2) High areas spatially concentrated provincial capital cities, prominent spatiotemporal heterogeneity characteristics spatial correlation. (3) Industrial structure, human capital, resource endowment have significant contribution degree, while informationization level transport facilities heterogeneous influence different sub-location contexts. openness regulation did not ‘pollution shelter’ effect, confirming ‘Porter’s hypothesis’ some extent. (4) only provides new evidence technological but it also an important reference empower high-quality tourism.

Researchers and companies are placing increasing importance on sustainability to fight climate change. This study analyzes the of hotel installation, photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, transition from traditional lighting light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs. The results show that for PV system, NPV (net present value) varied between 3191 11,959 kTND/kW installation panels has a positive 100% in case high market scenario 79–84% with reduced activity. Regarding energy optimization, use LED bulbs generates an 346 713 TND/bulb, depending self-consumption cost electricity. Ecological studies installing would reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 424 gCO2eq/kWh, or 61 tCO2eq/year. Furthermore, social evaluations have shown renewable optimization point view ecological transition. In conclusion, green investments improve hotels. However, fully exploit this potential, change consumer attitudes is needed. Hotels must continue promote their efforts while making guests aware eco-friendly choices. Only combined approach, involving both hoteliers guests, will achieve sustainable sector. objective article therefore examine multidisciplinary interactions development highlighting inherent opportunities approach success hospitality Our methodological combines theoretical numerical study. These play major role projects due economic, environmental, technical, technological contributions, which proves address holistic way.
