The Paris Agreement emphasizes the critical role of forests in addressing climate change and ecological protection. High-quality forestry development is an important aspect forest conservation. As a core strategy for China’s economic transformation, new-type urbanization increasingly interacting with high-quality development. This study aims to explore this relationship analyze its impact mechanism. Taking representative Yellow River Basin China as example, research uses benchmark regression model, mediation effect threshold model from 2010 2022 quantitatively on results show that (1) has significantly promoted development, estimated coefficient 0.325; (2) different regions exhibits significant differences, return coefficients upper, middle, lower reaches being 0.326, 0.213, −0.359, respectively; (3) technological innovation plays key improving production efficiency, resource diversity, ecosystem services, 6.543 innovation; (4) greater government support, larger impact. p-value double 0.037. Accordingly, achieve joint efforts are required at both national regional levels promoting urbanization. China’s rapid urbanization has spurred economic growth and posed environmental challenges. We investigate the relationship between multidimensional pollution by a fixed effect model based on panel data of 70 cities in three major urban agglomerations Yangtze River Economic Belt during 2005–2020. Overall, aggravates then decreases agglomerations, which is closely related to control policies. Environmental shows obvious spatial heterogeneities five levels have been gradually changed from high-value low-value levels. In Belt, dominated “High–High” “Low–Low” clusters. Among them, clusters move eastwards, while concentrate southeastwards. Multidimensional helps alleviate regional pollution. Economic, social, land reduces certain extent. Population non-significant Social improved Chengdu–Chongqing agglomeration (CC) Delta (YRD), increased population middle reaches (MYD) comprehensive CC.

Green finance is of vital significance for global rural sustainable development. This paper aims to explore the impact green on Based panel data obtained from 283 prefecture‐level cities in China over period 2004 2022, a development indicator system was constructed under DPSIR framework. By employing fixed‐effects model, moderation effect analysis, and spatial Durbin role its effects proposed. The results these analyses reveal following: (1) Rural exhibits cyclical expansion–contraction trend; (2) promotes sustainability, confirmed by robustness checks; (3) environmental regulations digital economy play positive moderating enhancing development; (4) terms effects, has within region but can exert negative spillover surrounding regions. findings, it proposed that layout should be strengthened, supervision enhanced, promoted. Such recommendations represent critical measures which serve as foundation stimulate provide valuable references relevant policy formulation.

The prohibition zone policy restricts certain activities in specific areas to protect the environment, while emission permit allows companies trade emissions permits as a market-based approach regulation. Can two policies jointly promote carbon reduction of pig breeding industry (PBI)? Based on panel data 31 provinces and cities China from 2010 2020, this paper adopts propensity score matching multi-period difference-in-differences (PSM-DID) models study impact dual PBI. Our theoretical empirical findings suggest that significantly reduces A mediating analysis reveals industrial structure government penalties regulate policy. Further shows play synergistic role Regional heterogeneity is also explored, indicating effect more significant western China. Policy implementers should fully consider various policies, regional differences, regulatory factors, formulating complementary combinations green new quality productivity

Sub-watershed prioritization using morphometric analysis and multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques is a systematic approach to identifying ranking sub-watersheds based on their susceptibility soil erosion. This helps in implementing targeted conservation measures. In this study, the Narangi basin are prioritized by employing integrated with advanced MCDM techniques, including additive ratio assessment (ARAS), complicated proportional (COPRAS), multi-objective optimization (MOORA), technique for order preference similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS). Weights various methods determined criteria importance through an inter-criteria correlation (CRITIC: method), while geospatial ensure precise spatial analysis. The results provide unified of sub-watersheds, revealing that sub-watershed 3 (SW3) SW9 high-priority erosion category; SW1, SW2, SW5, SW8 medium-priority; SW4, SW6, SW7, SW10 low-priority. comprehensive sustainability-oriented equips decision-makers robust tools identify manage at risk erosion, ensuring long-term sustainability land water resources. study aligns sustainable development goal 15 (life land) promotes use practices combat degradation.
