Although the effects of air pollution on economics have been reflected in recent research, very little literature has explored whether enterprises are actively adopting digital transformation under pressure pollution. Considering serious China and importance transformation, this study uses panel data Chinese A-share listed companies quality data, from 2014 to 2020, investigate impact transformation. The results show that forces engage conclusion still holds after endogeneity robustness tests. Further, a mechanism analysis indicates affects through green cognition, innovation, government subsidies. Meanwhile, regional informatization positively moderates relationship between three mechanisms. Finally, heterogeneity shows significantly eastern regions, state-owned, capital-intensive, technology-intensive enterprises.

The degradation of the environment in China is accelerating along with economic expansion. Adoption renewable energy technologies (RETs) crucial for reducing adverse impacts growth on and fostering sustainable development. This study attempts to identify green innovation drivers sub-drivers that affect adoption RETs provide solutions boosting their implementation. prioritized drivers, sub-drivers, strategies by combining Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. In study, triple bottom line (TBL) approach has been used determine economic, societal, environmental driving forces. also suggests encouraging use RETs. results AHP method revealed economics most driver, a weight 0.376, followed (0.332), social (0.291) drivers. findings SAW indicated government initiatives, consumer industry initiatives are significant deploying China. important theoretical practical ramifications adopt suggested approaches can help researchers, business professionals, policymakers promote development

Based on the cognitive and upper echelons theories, this study investigated impact of executives' green cognition corporate innovation using panel data Chinese A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2021. The findings revealed that with executives who possess demonstrated a minimum increase 12.5% in compared without such cognition. mechanism analysis suggested promotes by alleviating managerial myopia attracting investors. heterogeneous effects indicated positive effect is predominantly observed among non-heavy-polluting industries regions lower intensity environmental regulations.
