Devising exceptional S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts utilized in annihilating pharmaceuticals and chromium contamination is significant for addressing the problem of global water pollution. In this work, a chemically bonded Mn0.5Cd0.5S/BiOBr heterostructure with oxygen vacancies ingeniously developed through facile in-situ solvothermal synthesis. The designed exhibits eminently reinforced photo-activity destruction tetracycline hydrochloride Cr (VI) as compared its individual components. This substantial photo-redox performance amelioration benefitted from creation an intense internal electric field (IEF) via supplying powerful driving force migration highway by interfacial chemical bond to foster electron/hole disintegration. More intriguingly, IEF at hetero-interface drives fast consumption photo-induced holes Mn0.5Cd0.5S photoelectrons BiOBr, profoundly boosting enrichment active photo-carriers sparing photo-corrosion Mn0.5Cd0.5S. Furthermore, anti-interference property can work efficiently real matrices. Inappropriate application of pesticides not only causes sub-lethal effects on ecosystem service providers but also reduces crop yield and quality. As a xenobiotic signal molecule, may interact with transduction receptors in crops, resulting oxidative damage even metabolic perturbations. We discovered that three neonicotinoid insecticides (NIs), namely, imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, at 0.06-0.12 kg ai/ha significantly inhibited the auxin pathway rice leaves, thereby reducing intracellular (IAA) content. Molecular simulation further confirmed NIs occupied binding site where transporter-like proteins 1 (LAX11) 2 (LAX12), which Thr253 Asn66 LAX11, as well Thr244 Asn57 LAX12, were bound to nitroguanidine via H-bonds. Agricultural soil is related to food security and human health, antibiotics heavy metals (HMs), as two typical pollutants, possess a high coexistence rate in the environmental medium, which extremely prone inducing antibiotic-HMs combined pollution. Recently, frequent activities have led more prominent antibiotics-HMs contamination agricultural soils, especially production spread of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), metal (MRGs), resistant bacteria (ARB), complexes (AMCs), seriously threaten ecology health. This review describes main sources (Intrinsic manmade sources), composite mechanisms (co-selective resistance, oxidative stress, Joint toxicity mechanism), fate potential risks (soil ecological health risks) HMs soils. Finally, current effective source blocking, transmission control, attenuation strategies are classified for discussion, such application additives barrier materials, well plant animal remediation bioremediation, etc., pointing out that future research should focus on whole chain process "source-process-terminal", intending provide theoretical basis decision-making reference research.
