This article presents a review of renewable energy systems in Latin America, highlighting recent advances aimed at transforming electricity markets to make them more environmentally sustainable. The transition these countries is closely linked policies and legislation that promote the adoption energy, guided by roadmaps facilitate planning decision-making processes.
