Abstract
Legislation
and
market
competition
make
it
necessary
to
assess
systems
regarding
their
environmental,
social,
economic
impacts.
The
life
cycle
sustainability
assessment
(LCSA)
approach
can
be
used
for
this
purpose.
However,
the
literature
shows
limitations
of
approach.
This
article
focuses
on
often
encountered
inconsistency
reduced
transparency
within
dimension
due
lack
harmonized
impact
methods.
Therefore,
we
propose
a
novel
(eLCIA)
method
called
DEALA
(Differentiated
Economic
Assessment
in
Life
Cycle‐Oriented
Analysis),
which
allows
assessments
at
three
levels
aggregation.
