(1) Background: The adulteration of cosmetics has become increasingly common, which seriously harms ordinary consumers. counterfeit pointed out in this study mainly refer to imitating genuine products terms ingredients and packaging. Ordinary consumers cannot distinguish their authenticity solely based on appearance daily use. If there is a convenient low-cost detection method that can expose phenomenon adulteration, it will be able protect the interests quickly conveniently. (2) Methods: MALDI-TOF, GC-MS, mid-IR were used develop fast methods for identifying cosmetics. Five types liquid five emulsion purchased from container wholesale markets analyzed using three instruments mentioned above, spectra acquired data carefully compared determine authenticity.
