Effectively
managing
fresh
food
supply
chains
(FFSCs)
has
long
been
a
big
challenge
owing
to
the
complexity
in
practice.
Adoption
of
innovative
technologies,
blockchain
traceability
(BT),
and
cold-chain
preservation
(CP)
technology
improve
efficiency
FFSC
management
attracted
much
attention
practically
academically.
Distinct
from
existing
studies,
this
paper
provides
specific
insight
into
application
these
two
technologies
by
taking
account
their
functions
restraining
misreporting
behavior
with
BT
due
its
transparency
improving
freshness
CP
based
on
investment
equipment.
With
mind,
develops
game
theoretic
models
identify
conditions
under
which
are
optimal
selection
for
supplier/retailer.
It
assumes
that
retailer
is
Stackelberg
leader
supplier
follower.
The
key
findings
show
that:
(1)
foci
eliminate
suppliers’
minimize
incentive
fees,
can
increase
prices
promote
order
quantities
demand;
(2)
only
when
consumers
demonstrate
“appropriate”
sensitivity
freshness,
