Background: The growing population of older adults and the prevalence multiple chronic conditions (MCCs) among them present significant challenges in care treatment. Self-management is an effective approach to managing consequences MCCs. Objectives: This study aimed explore factors related self-management with Methods: qualitative employed a content analysis from June April 2023 hospitals universities Tehran. sample consisted 26 participants, including MCCs, family caregivers, specialists. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Purposeful sampling was used, continued until data saturation achieved. rigor evaluated using Lincoln Guba criteria, conducted simultaneously collection Elo Kyngäs methods. Results: final identified several affecting self-management. A total 697 semantic units 336 codes categorized into 13 subcategories 4 main categories. These categories included: Individual (biological factors, cognitive coexisting diseases, mental health, economic status, health-oriented behaviors), interpersonal (interaction medical team, relationships), health system (facilities centers, staff empowerment, policymaking), extra-organizational (cultural social factors). Abstract The hot-melt extrusion process is currently considered a prominent manufacturing technique in the pharmaceutical industry. present study intended to develop amlodipine besylate (AMB)-loaded subcutaneous implants reduce frequency of administration, thus improving patient compliance during hypertension management. AMB were prepared using continuous technology poly(caprolactone) and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) with dimensions 3.70 cm (length) by 2.00 mm (diameter). characterized for thermal characteristics, drug-excipient incompatibilities, surface morphology, fracturability, vitro drug release, stability studies. Differential scanning calorimetry confirmed drug's crystalline state within fabricated implants, while textural analysis demonstrated good fracturability lead formulation. Scanning electron microscopy revealed smooth morphology implant. formulation showed an extended release profile over 30 days (~ 2.25 mg per day) followed zero-order kinetics (R 2 value 0.9999) mean dissolution time 14.96 days. remained stable at accelerated conditions 40°C 75% relative humidity.
