Abstract Large segmental bone defects are commonly operated with autologous grafting, which has limited sources and poses additional surgical risks. In this study, we fabricated poly(lactide- co -glycolic acid) (PLGA)/β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) composite membranes by electrostatic spinning further promoted osteogenesis regulating the release of β-TCP in hope replacing grafts clinical practice. The addition improved mechanical strength PLGA 2.55 times. Moreover, could accelerate degradation neutralize negative effects acidification microenvironment caused degradation. vitro experiments revealed that PLGA/TCP10 biocompatible released can modulate activity osteoblasts enhancing calcium ions concentration damaged area pH local microenvironment. Background Most studies have indicated that peripheral insulin-like growth levels factor-1 (IGF-1) is valuable in diagnosing heart failure, although the results been inconsistent. To help solve debate, we performed a meta-analysis to explore relationship between IGF-1 and failure (HF). Methods We conducted an extensive search across various databases such as Embase, Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Medline, Web of Science on May 30, 2023. From pool studies, selected 16 relevant articles, encompassing total 1,380 cases 1,153 controls, conduct rigorous meta-analysis. Results The there association lower level HF. random-effects model yielded pooled standardized mean difference (SMD) −0.598 (95% CI: −1.081 −0.116, P = 0.015). Further subgroup analysis also showed were associated with HF age ≥5 years body mass index >1 subgroup. Additionally, significant detected “serum” samples “Europe” subgroups. Importantly, observed patients reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) compared not preserved (HFpEF). Begg’s Egger’s tests revealed no indication publication bias.
