Abstract In recent years, proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell (FC; PEMFC) has been widely studied and gradually applied to vehicle power supply, portable communication base station backup, emergency so on. Especially in new energy vehicles, PEMFC absolute advantages a broad market. PEM, which is the core component of PEMFC, close correlation between its property performance FC. Therefore, developing excellent PEMs focus researchers. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) composed metal ions/clusters organic ligands have attracted extensive attention field conduction. The hybrid membranes formed by MOFs polymers show performances design concepts, great prospects commercial application. This paper summarizes research progress MOFs‐based as hydrogen–oxygen FCs direct methanol FCs, different used substrates are also summed up.

Integrated electrocatalysts (IECs) containing well-defined functional materials directly grown on the current collector have sparked increasing interest in fields of electrocatalysis owing to efficient activity, high stability and fact that they are easily assembled into devices. Recently, metal organic frameworks (MOFs) provide a promising platform for constructing advanced IECs because their properties low cost, large surface area structural tunability. In this review, design principles state-of-the-art based MOFs presented, including by hydrothermal/solvothermal, template-directed, electrospinning, electrodeposition other methods. The performance MOF-derived has also been demonstrated electrocatalytic gas-involved reactions. This is green energy storage conversion. structure-activity relationship improvement mechanism uncovered discussing some situ technologies IECs. Finally, we an outlook challenges prospects booming field.

Pt-based high-entropy alloys (HEA) enable high-performance electrocatalysts with a low Pt content. However, the current synthesis methods of HEAs suffer from complex processes, such as high temperatures or special manufacturing processes. In this work, bottom-up shear-assisted liquid metal surface reduction strategy is introduced for sub-2 nm ultrasmall HEA nanoparticles (NPs) at room temperature. To prove its utility, Co–Fe–Ni–Pt–Ta–vxc72 was found to exhibit excellent electrocatalytic activity and stability both hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) oxygen (OER) overpotentials 10.6 290 mV 10 mA/cm2, respectively. At same time, in reactions, can reach 20 h according chronoamperometry. We expect that many nano-HEAs will be synthesized by our method used other related applications future.
